Along the way

~10 YEARS OF WEDDED BLISS~

I am trying to remember how "us" started.I really don’t want to recall the past as it was not that good, but some people said, try and remember(or accept) the past to conquer the future. Well, I remember the day you came into my life so well, although it was a mess, I was excited to see you for the first time. We really got along.

Before you came though, I was really down and confused, I even almost gave up. I really felt so alone and broken hearted . It was really lonely. But then, you came along from nowhere, and very fast. We talked for a long time. Somehow, right then, I realized how faithful and sincere you were. I have never felt the sincerity from anyone else but you. I had always been betrayed. You had took my hand and gave me hope, and that’s all I needed to feel alive again.I felt so home with you. You had managed to make me feel like I was somebody again .You said you love me…. I fell in love with you for the first time….

I fell in love with you the second time as the days went on, and it was getting stronger. You were always there to lend a helping hand especially to my family back home. And when things went wrong, you always made them right without any question, and even if I made all the mess. You had become my best friend. You made my days so bright. .. I am not afraid to face the world again coz you had taught me how to be strong. I am different now, back on my feet. ..You made me live again.

You always put me first before you, I drive the nicer car. I have the privilege of holding the "basket". You are always there for Arvin. I could not see a better father for him than you. I could not imagine not having you in our lives. I fell in love with you again, the 3rd time.

I guess, I would say I am so lucky to have you. I would also say that our marriage is a success. Success in marriage does not come merely through finding the right mate, but through being the right mate, so, for all the kindness and the love you have given me, what better way of saying thanks to you than  to love you too. You deserve to be loved, and I love you with all of my heart.
