MAGIC MOUNTAIN
(Aug. 4, 2006)..After camping, we were on our way inland, to the City of Moncton, NB.
We promised Arvin to take him to Magic Mountain, as a gift for not having a party for his birthday. He was a bit reluctant on having a party anyways, everybody was out of town and we had that Brookfield Day, that weekend, so everybody was busy. So we just invited a couple of his friends for a cake and ice cream and sleepover for that weekend. Anyways, I thought, John will not like the place. It was just not his style to go for a waterpark. But it turned out to be fun! We arrived there around 10 AM. Not much people yet. The best thing about that day was, the sun wasn’t out! di kami nasunog even if we didn;t have sunblocks.
We got the bracelet and Arvin was so excited to go in and try everything.
We tried the LAZY RIVER first, where we jumped in a tube and take a break while the current carries us 1/4 of a mile around the replica of a nineteenth century steamship. It was really cool. John really did enjoyed that.
Then Arvin and I tried The Giant Twister Slides-the Twister, Pipeline, Sidewinder and Tornado- an enclosed tube slide that is almost 400 feet in length, and offers a thrilling "dark" ride experience!. I like the tornado the best because even if you feel like you are dropping at some speed, you had your tube to hold on. I closed my eyes and was screaming as soon as I sit my feet down the slides, and down to the pool hehehehe.. Arvin said I was soo loud!We slided there a few times, then Arvin wanna try a more daring one…the Proracer and the exciting Kamikaze Speed Slide, that allows the more daring patrons to drop over 100 feet at speeds over 60 km per hour!!! whew!!!, I was the one who got scared for him! but he was ‘a true daredevil’.. but he was only there once, he got scared after that, hehehehe…then we went to the Wave Pool which has the capacity to produce eight different waves of up to five or six feet high. That was really cool, we enjoyed that very much…we teased John to go to the kiddie area coz he doesn’t wanna go to the slides, hehehehe..baka mabalian ng likod:)..anyways, he went to the Lazy river again and to the wave pool…yan lang daw kaya niya. But he was like a child over there, hehehe I was really amused. We were there until around 3pm.
