AFTER SCHOOL THINGS

JuneTwo more weeks and school will be done. Whew! at last! Arvin will be in grade 6 this September!which means he’ll be in high school after that!.. I still couldn’t believe it sometimes…Arvin just can’t wait for summer. They had their last after-school-soccer plays this week. This is only one of the after-school activities that the school are promoting in order for kids to be active..I had enrolled him last month for the summer soccer, which will start next week, again this is only a recreation activity, but he will be playing with kids his age from around the community and sorrounding areas, not just his classmates.

I enrolled Arvin to almost anything I think he would like to participate in, since he was in primary. He was in Karate for 2 years, but he lost interest of it this year, so I didn’t push him…he will be needing another Gi anyways, so I didn’t bother…hehehe…

He’s still in swimming lessons. Although I miss the enrollment for spring, and I won’t enrol him during summer because there’s a lot of water activities outside. He’s really enjoying it. This is one activity I think  every kids should involve in.Not for the kids to be in swimming competitions or stuff like that, but to get them to know the basic swimming techniques and some basic know-how if something goes wrong when they are in water. Plus, they could get a training course when they reach 16 and become an instructor, give them extra money.

Wow! I like what you are doing Arl. If ever meron akong anak, ganyan din gagawin ko , ang i-enroll sya to activities in which he/she will enjoy doing and will be beneficial in the coming years. You are a very supportive Mom. Keep it up Arl!

that’s great that u always find activities for Arvin. hubby said that we’ll let AJ play T-ball next yr with the kids in the neighborhood. it should be fun seeing him play out in the field. swimming lessons sound like a good idea too. myabe i’ll wait when Aiden is big enough to join so they can have an activity together. right now, i’m having pre-school activities at home. learn his numbers, abc’s, shapes and stuff like that. looks like ur an active mom Arlz. great job!

I know some working Mother in my neighbor they get worried or stress when its summer time kasi nga yung iba they got nobody to watch their kid during daytime or how they are going to take their kids to the summer activiteis. Its hard when both parents work kasi naiiwan ang mga bata by themselves most of the time., which I cant blame parents who is trying to make meet ends to make thier kids life easy— Mostly of my neighbors is either mother work on daytime and father work on nightime… I had enrolled my Bianca Ann for summer swimming class and kindermusik— its kinda of expensive sa bulsa lalo na ngayon ang gas price is not doign good. hay Buhay!!! Life still good!!
