Brookfield vs. Willow
The great thing about the curriculum this year is the encouraging of kids to participate in physical activities..today, Arvin had to stay until 5pm in school for the after-school activity…which is very ok w/ me coz i’ll have some time for myself for an hour alone at home before John comes home at 4:30.They really had good volunteers this year, doing all these work after school, while I am just here in front of the monitor surfing and blogging:) I really had to do something with this:) After I picked Arvin up, we had our supper & did his homework & then get ready for the 7pm basketball.Arvin agreed to join the basketball team this year..it will run once a week, either Mondays or Tuesdays which will run for 10 weeks..again, thanks to the volunteers for making this happened. They will be playing against other schools, w/c is cool…today they played against Willow Elem., I eagerly watch my son play..it was very cool, and who’s the loudest mom? you bet I was!!!!hehehehe
