Along the way

We went to Halifax today(capital city of Nova Scotia-for those who don’t know where it is:). It’s that time of the year again to start christmas.Of course christmas lights goes with it. We were so excited on the way there, parade starts at 6 pm, arrived there 15 mins early but never get a parking spot till 30 past 6.Very frustrating! I was  able to find a place(at last!, John was starting to get stressed out as I drove to secondary roads with lot of kids and people walking all towards the parade route.., very country boy, will freak out in the city.LOL )we were lucky the parade will be passing there, so we didn’t walk that far.The sky was cloudless, and there was a little hint of wind.Mom was wrapped up really good, i was worried she’ll freeze to death.Temperature was a degree above zero, but it wasn’t that bad, with all the excitements and adrenalins, you won’t feel the cold..Everything went well, all the kids and kids at heart were so excited as the parade starts,a lot of entree this year, most of them are very impressive.Mom had a great time, taking candies as floats pass by…we did took quite a bit of photos, but because it was night time, some didn’t turn out good…By the time half of it were done, mom starts to complain about her feet being cold.I told her to just hang on a lil bit, santa will be here soon. And so he did!…..afterwards, we went straight to Tim Hortons for a hot cup of teas and timbits.We were all exhausted when we got home but I still have the urge to write all of these in my blog! lol…
